A blend of pragmatism and energetic design characterises the Iris Office, a 6,200 sq-ft space marked with high ceiling, white walls and grey carpet floor. While the office accommodates 50 linear workstations, it breaks the monotony with sensible design interventions. Suspended lamps with up & down illumination lend a sophisticated balance of aesthetics and function.
Colours distinguish the office hierarchy —tones of blue highlights the workstations, breakout spaces is energised with patterned chairs and red splashes, and the café is cheerful in yellow. In a professional environment, this play of colours brings with it a sense of optimism for clients and visitors, while simultaneously ensuring the employees feel motivated and cheerful by the ambience.
The design also breaks the sedentary pattern of working by incorporating standing tables in the café facing the office exteriors and its glass facade, and by doing so improves energy levels in the office.
